In keeping with the tradition and spirit of Riding into History bringing you the best each year. We are proud to announce that Wayne Carini of Chasing Classic Cars fame, has agreed to be the Grand Marshal for our 21st Motorcycle Concours d’Elegance to be held on April 24th and 25th 2020.

Wayne’s love of all things with a motor started as a young boy, working alongside his father on classic cars. After his first ride in a classic Ferrari, at a very young age, he fell in love with the marque.  Automobiles and motorcycles have been Wayne’s passion ever since.

Riding into History has a direct connection to Wayne’s motorcycle endeavors.  Norm Nelson, a long time Riding Into History volunteer, and leader of the Grand Marshal’s ride, each year, purchased his 1911 Reading Standard from Wayne.  Norm and his Reading Standard competed in the 2016 Motorcycle Cannonball, and is hoping to campaign it again in the 2020 event.  Norm and Wayne will be leading the Grand Marshal’s ride at this years Riding into History on April 24th, 2020.

Wayne is the hands on, owner of three automotive related companies in Portland, CT.  He participates in many classic car and motorcycle shows each year. An avid supporter of autism research organizations, Wayne helps organize and sponsor events for the benefit of children and adults with autism.
