1954 AJS E-95 Porcupine The world famous Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum is going to display six of their award winning motorcycles at the 21st Riding Into History Concours d’Elegance to be held on April 24, 2021.  Included in the display with be a 1954 AJS E-95 Porcupine (pictured here).  This motorcycle was the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours Class X inaugural winner.  Some of the other motorcycles to be displayed are a 1955 AWO/Simson 250, 1964 BSA Lightning Cutaway and a 1962 Matchless G 50. Wayne Carini, 2021 Riding into History Grand Marshal On-Line Registration for the 21st Annual Riding into History event at the World Golf Village will open on January 1, 2021. We will be celebrating the Brilliant British Bikes with Wayne Carini as our Grand Marshal! Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic National State of Emergency, Riding Into History has had to reschedule this year’s event(s) to the weekend of April 24, 2021. The rescheduled event will still be our 21st Annual Riding Into History and it will feature the Brilliant British Bikes at the World Golf Village, just as we planned for this year. We did so primarily to represent and promote our upcoming Riding Into History event. We were highly impressed with the entire show and beautiful displays of cars. The event far exceeded any expectations we had. We spent the majority of our day in the motorcycle display talking to other motorcycle enthusiasts, but nothing could have prepared us for the people we met and the stories we heard. Riding into History has opened registration for the 21st annual Concours d’Elegance, to be held on April 25, 2020 at the World Golf Village in St. Augustine, Florida.  While all motorcycle marques are welcomed, only antique vehicles are accepted with the possible exception of  limited edition models, and those of historic interest, which may be accepted for display only. Participants in the Concours are invited to join us for the Grand Marshal Tour which ends in lunch at a predetermined location.  Only Antique Motorcycles may be ridden on the Grand Marshal Tour. Jared & Sargent On October 17th, Riding Into History representatives, Bill Peterson (current Chairperson), Jennifer Samioglou and Ken Lucius (prior Chairpersons), Bill Botkin and John Samioglou (both long-time key volunteers) attended the graduation ceremony at the K9s for Warriors facilities in Ponte Vedra. Riding Into History has sponsored several K9s over the past few years and “ Sargent” was one of several dogs that graduated this month along with his Handler, Jared.  Sargent was named in honor of Sargent Cycle Product, one of the major sponsors of our event for many years.
