Sargent Cycle Products Gift Certificates

Riding Into History Newsletter

We have a few remaining gift certificates donated by Sargent Cycle Products.  These are $300 certificates we are selling for just $150. They are exchangeable towards both seats and services. Sargent is rightly well known for the World Sport seats they make for most popular late model motorcycles. But did you know they also provide a custom service? This is a great resource for our restorations or preservations of old bikes. Down here in Florida at least, over the years our heat gets to the foam. It literally turns to dust, loses its shape, and makes the seat sag. Not …

RIH opened on Friday with the Grand Marshal Tour. Led by American flat track racing legends Bill Werner and Scott Parker, over 50 entrants rode their vintage mounts on a scenic north Florida route to a luncheon in historic St. Augustine. Along the way, they stopped at the K9’s For Warriors campus where they met staff and warriors during a rest stop. The K9’s For Warriors have been the recipients of almost $200K dollars from RIH in recent years. During dinner Friday evening, Brian Slark of the Barber Motorsports Museum interviewed Parker and Werner. Also at dinner Anthony Cala, a …

Special Displays At RIH This Year

Riding Into History Newsletter

Each year Riding Into History presents a special display reflecting the show’s theme. We are featuring competition motorcycles in 2018, and actually have two related displays. Separate from the other racing equipment, there will be a selection of Harley-Davidson XR750 flat track racers. The XR750 is the iconic, prototypical flat track racer, having been competing successfully for nearly half a century. They are also central to the legacy of our 2018 Grand Marshals. Bill Werner has spent virtually his entire career nurturing the XR750 and tuning it for the some of the greatest riders in history. Scott Parker, riding Werner …

The Partners of Riding Into History support our event in many different ways.  Some help financially, others with donations of their professional services and volunteering.  Many of our partners help financially, with services and volunteering for Riding Into History.  We would not be so successful and be able to give a generous charitable donation every year without their support.   RIH thanks them all and look forward to seeing everyone Saturday, May 19, 2018, at the World Golf Village.  Please stop by their booths and show them your support. One of our newer partnerships is with Automotive Addicts.  They hold a …

Perhaps our longest serving supporter, Sargent Cycle Products is a Jacksonville company that began in the early 1990’s as an offshoot of an automotive upholstery shop. Today Sargent produces and markets seats and other motorcycle products worldwide.  They are our Grand Marshal dinner sponsor.  Sargents will bring a sampling of their World Sport seats for a wide variety of motorcycles. Less known is that Sargent also provides a custom seat service. In fact, many RIH award winners sport seats redone by the company. Stop by the booth and chat with their experts about your seating needs.   For the sixth year, …

Highlighting Our Riding Into History Partners
