Grand Marshal Tour
The Grand Marshal Tour is an invitation-only event for entrants with an approved bike registered in the Concours - due to the restaurant seating limitations we close this out at 60 people which we will probably reach in the next couple days so please don't delay if you want to attend this fun kick-off event for the weekend. You will receive an email invitation after your Concours application is reviewed and approved. We process the invitation responses on a first come/first serve basis and shut-down the web site once we hit the limit. This Vintage Motorcycle ride through the scenic byways of St Johns County includes a stop at K9's for Warriors and a leisurely lunch at the Ocean-Front Reef Restaurant on A1A.
Grand Marshal Banquet
We have plenty of room at the Grand Marshal Banquet at the Renaissance Resort Hotel at the World Golf Village on Friday April 19th. For the keynote presentation at the Banquet, our Grand Marshal, Henry DeGouw, will be interviewed by Brian Slark from Barber Motorsports Park and we expect to hear some great stories from the early racing days in the 1960's 70's and 80's. Henry will be bringing a TZ750 which was the bike he raced at Daytona Speedway and many other tracks (see Henry's full bio on our web site). Registration for the Grand Marshal Banquet will close on April 12, 2024. The Banquet includes a Silent Auction which will include two motorcycles that will be open for bidding starting Friday night at the Banquet and will close on Saturday 1:00pm at the Concours - we'll send out a separate article with more details about those auction bikes later this week.
Concours d'Elegance
We are wrapping up the new field layout for the Riding Into History Concours at the Classic Car Museum of St Augustine and we will be closing registration for the Concours on Saturday April 13 at midnight. We will be limiting the Concours entries to the first 200 bikes and the field is filling up fast so please register your bike(s) as soon as possible as we may have to close the registration early once it has reached that maximum capacity. There is no charge to enter a bike but it must be approved and pre-registered - no walk-ups on the day of the Concours are permitted.
We'll see you there!
We are excited to be presenting Riding into History at the Classic Car Museum this year - they just had their new electronic billboard sign installed and will be displaying our RIH electronic advertising graphic over the next couple weeks prior to the Concours. We hope to see record crowds of spectators at this new highly-visible location just a couple miles south from the Historic Old City district of St Augustine.
