Made in Japan. “Tomoe Gozen” of twelfth century Japan was a fierce and fabled Samurai warrior, renowned for her beauty and bravery.  She was the wife of Shogun (Minamoto Yoshinaka 1154-1184) and fought beside him in all of his battles. Riding Into History’s14th annual poster for the year 2013.  The motorcycle is Andres’ 1953 Harley Davidson “KR”, 45 c.i. (750c.c.), SV,  45°, V-twin.  Made in the USA. 1960 was the last year the Daytona Motorcycle Race was contensted on the “Beach”.  Known as the “200 miler”.  It ran 19 times starting in 1937 (no races were held during World War II, 1942-1946).
